I miss you every day. Stan kept you going through helping you, taking you everywhere, fixing everything in the house, making sure the birds were fed so you could watch them all day through your window. The McGuinn Family cannot thank him enough for all that he did. God Bless you lady, thanks for the memories. Sharon Kelly less

The answer was yes! Charles(Bill) McGuinn, was Sandys father in law, and my dad! The following week I found my self in Glenview, knocking at her door! I was no longer afraid. When she answered my knock,I stretched out my hand and placed the watch and the shawl into her hands. With tears rolling down her rosy, beautiful cheeks, she gave them right back to me. That was the start of a historical family reunion! less

She told many stories, she bubbled with enthusiasm about life and about being 90.
Most significant to me was when she spoke about her brother, my father! In her own words , I can quote “it was good, I went back to my brother, when he was in the hospital, I would have regretted that!”! Picture Dads 80th birthday visit. less

She had a smile and laugh that could light up a room. Nancy loved traveling, Hawaii was her favorite. She took cruises, even by her self in up until she was 85. In her younger years she worked for Centel (then Ma Bell) as a telephone operator. She worked there for over 30 years and loved working with the public. She was a regular on the golf course and played many courses throughout the U.S. In the 80s she loved to travel to Albuquerque, NM to see her niece Cynthia McGuinn and her children, Cory and Lonnie.
Nancy had a strong love for animals having had several dogs over the years and a black cat that found her way to Nancy by crying outside of her house during a horrible thunderstorm, duly named Storm, that cat kept her company and stuck pretty close to her side for the last 11 years. She would hand out dog treats to the neighbor dogs as they passed by her home. She had them lining up.
Her family loved her little quips and endless stories of her childhood and adventures. She loved teasing and being teased with friendly banter back and forth. She loved bantering with Stan and giving him all kinds of grief. She will be missed by so many. less
