With his words, Nathan could wake memories from slumber and tell their stories like no one else, taking us all back to the moments etched on his heart and in his mind. He lived to retell those moments exactly as he lived in them- with his whole heart, with great love for those he shared them with and in a detail that could bring you to tears, from laughter and sweetness. He led with his heart and his heart led him, so very much like his mother. It was the only way he knew to be and it was beautifully him:

Nathan Scott Cavazos (born February 27, 1977) succumbed to chronic heart and autoimmune disease on March 9, 2020, at the age of 43.
His legacy will live on in his two amazing children, Julia and Jace Cavazos.
He is also survived by his parents, Gabriel and Sandra Cavazos, siblings: Tobi Cavazos, Fallon (Gary) Garza, Jheri Anne (Shane) Preston, Grace (Tim) Kilander, Dallas (Marisa) Cavazos and Jett Cavazos, nieces/nephews: Dominic, Isaac, Porter Binx and Lincoln Mars, and significant other, Antonia Marie. Extended families on both his mother and father's side- grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and second cousins-mourn his passing.
He was predeceased by his mother, Julia, grandmother Bonnie, grandfathers Stan and Pedro, and Uncle Greg.
Rest in peace, Nathan. You are loved. You are missed.
