Octavio Algeria Leon was born on March 14th, 1947 in Cananea Sonora Mexico to Jesus and Francisca Leon. He had four brothers Jesse Leon, Charlie Leon, Robert Leon, and Armando Leon. He also had a sister Irma Rodriguez. When Octavio was young his mother passed away and he gained a wonderful stepmother and her name was Billie Leon and he also gained a lovely stepsister Sharon Tucker. Octavio was also known to many as Gus or Tavo grew up in Hunnington Park and went to Compton Highschool. He married his first wife Linda Leon and has three beautiful girls Frances Neal, Noelle Martinez, and Kamala Whitlock. He moved to Lousiana and worked at General Motors for 44 Years before retiring with his current wife Yvonne Leon. Where he gained three stepdaughters Paula Derige, Michelle Giles and Misty Talbert. He was also a grandfather to Lindsey Arnold, Zane McCallum, Johnathan McCallum, Asia Kiser, Corey Burch, Alexa Martinez, Nathan Gonzales, Darian Whitlock, Elizabeth Jackson, Alejandro Derige, Terrell Williams, Brenton Kitterlin, Chandler Ezernack, Audriana Jones, and Drake Jones. Also was a great grandfather to Lillian, Isabella, Eli, Zender, Gage, Anthony, Jackie, Annabella, Lylah, Riley, Colson, Wyatt, Alliana, Heather, and Emmet.
Octavio is predeceased in death by Jesus Leon, Francisca Leon, Billie Leon, Armando Leon, Irma Leon, and Michelle Giles. Tavo was known to everyone as a hard-working nobleman. He always wanted to retire and move to Arizona he loved all kinds of food such as Menudo, Tamales, Conchas and he loved his scotch and club soda. He made his way to everyone's heart and will be dearly missed.
