PETER JOHN KAPLANIS.    Born: February 1, 1935 in San Francisco, CA.  Raised: in San Francisco.  First language at home: Greek.  Parents: immigrants from Greece.    Special places: John Muir Woods -and- Golden Gate Park -and- Yosemite. Attended: George Washington High School in San Francisco.  Adored: Fall of 1952 GWHS class reunion group of friends. All-Star athlete at GWHS: basketball, baseball, and track & field. Summers:...  see more
