She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She cared deeply for those close to her and treated everyone with respect and generosity. She cherished her time with her grandchildren and adored every one of them.
She loved to sew and was always willing to make costumes for the kids in their Christmas plays, or hem family's clothes, without asking for payment. She loved country music and she really liked Elvis Presley, hoping to one day go visit Graceland.
She was a faithful member of Ablaze for Jesus Church and would often give tithes and offerings, especially for the Philippines missions, and was always willing to help out in cleaning up after special events, even if she wasn't at full strength.
My mom never liked being a burden to anyone, including her family, and only in her last few months did she begin asking for help with errands around the house.
Rebecca was an amazing woman and friend and she will always be remembered by her family and friends. We will miss her dearly.

I was always curious to hear her testimony since I knew she went through many tough times, but she was not one to talk about herself. Her ability to live through it all with a smile was testimony enough.
I am grateful to have known Auntie Becky as a consistent presence during my entire life and even more grateful that my kids had the opportunity to know and interact with her as well. She watched me grow up, get married, and have kids (literally - she was in the delivery room before I yelled at everyone to get out). I loved her friendship cake, guava jam, and strawberry delight. She was my go-to seamstress when my pants needed to be hemmed. I loved that she thought every child with a dimple got their dimple from her. less
