OBITUARY
Bob was a lifelong activist, an out gay man, a father, a grandfather, a medical orders clerk, a teacher, a grocery stock clerk, an amusement park food service manager, and a lot of other things we're probably forgetting. Bob was a lifelong activist, an out gay man, a father, a grandfather, a medical orders clerk, a teacher, a grocery stock clerk, an amusement park food service manager, and a lot of other things we're probably forgetting. He chose to marry a woman since it was the only way for him to have the children he wanted at the time. Later, he was a very active and engaged grandfather.
Everyone is sort of in shock that it happened so quickly, but Bob didn't suffer long and died at home, under hospice care.

The Brush with Fame that made Bob really proud was that he attended Regis High School in New York one year behind Anthony Fauci. Dr. Fauci was class of '58 and Bob was class of '59. Bob said that Dr. Fauci seemed very studious.
Having children was always something that my father wanted. When he married my mother, she had two teenagers, David and Dajenya, from a previous marriage, and then they had me (Grace) and my little sister, Eve.
