Robin Laura Valente, age 56, of Princeton, MA, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved mother and mother in law of Jessica and Daniel Pelletier and Michael and Jessica Valente and devoted grandmother to Lila, Stella, Charlotte, Allston, and Phoebe.
Robin was born in Watertown, Massachusetts and grew up in Framingham Massachusetts. She loved going to the beach, sitting lake side and watching sunsets. She was a joy to anyone who met her, always putting others first. She was courageous and her strength was something to be admired. Robin battled and fought cancer three times previously. Never giving up and never backing down. She knew how to enjoy life and have a good time. She loved horses and dogs, especially Toby. She enjoyed spending time at her daughter and son-in-laws home in New Hampshire and spending 4th of July on the lake. She loved her friends and family so much but her greatest joy and biggest accomplishment was her two loving children. The bond they had was inspiring and admirable.
Besides her children and grandchildren, Robin is survived by her father, Claudio Valente of South Carolina. Her siblings, Laura Basile of Watertown, MA, Steven Valente of Bolton, MA, Lisa Tollison, and David Valente, both of South Carolina and many nieces and nephews. One of Robins biggest joys was seeing her friends and family gather in harmony creating memories that last a life time.
Family and friends are kindly invited to join us as we celebrate Robin’s life and honor her memory on Saturday April 2 at 3:00 p.m. at The Valente’s (26 Tannery Road Sturbridge MA 01518).
