Ron Klein, expert practitioner and teacher of Ericksonian Brief Therapy, Hypnotherapy, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming, passed away on May 20, 2022, at 88 years of age.
Ron contracted early Covid-19 in 2020, even though he had been very careful with masking and distancing. His condition was very serious, lasting for many weeks and he came very close to death. Ron, recovered, but continued with serious symptoms, putting him in the “long haul Covid-19 category.” He had pre-existing conditions that continued to contribute to his decline.
Ron was considered by his students to be the most pragmatic, understandable, and exacting model for successful psychotherapy, and they never ceased in singing his praises for how their work became immediately superior by quickly changing their patient’s/client’s lives, and at times, their own.
His greatest wish was to become well enough again to teach more psychotherapists to be truly great in their helping profession, but it was not to be. Ron was more than a teacher, he was a healer, who helped change hundreds of people’s lives for the better.
Ron is survived by his wife, Vashti Stopher Klein, and, from a previous marriage, his three children, Judy Angelheart, Gerald Klein, and Cynthia Tenicela, as well as his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to Red Rover Organization or a charity of your choice.
