Roseanne Denise Metzger passed into eternal peace with our Lord on October 4, 2020 after a hard and courageous battle with cancer. Roseanne was born in Lowell, Massachusetts to Josephine Camp and Emile Arnault on August 11, 1958. She was the youngest of 6 and had 3 brothers and two sisters . She grew up in Bridgeport, Connecticut and attended Bassick High School where she was a member of the band and played flute.
After leaving high school she married William Meyer and they had four children together moving to Corpus Christi, Texas where they were raised. She was an active parent in her children's school activities, her children were always her number one priority. She found many of her lifelong friends during her time in Texas.
In 1999 Roseanne moved to Tampa, Florida to pursue her career in banquet management which transitioned to restaurant software. She was professional and well respected in her field.
In 2013 Roseanne met the love of her life, John Metzger, after being set up by a mutual friend. Her years with him were some of the happiest of her life. They were married August 13, 2017. The wedding theme was inspired by the Disney movie “Up” after the true love of the main character and his wife. Roseanne added many pages of memories in her adventure book but too many blank pages at the end that were yet to be filled.
Roseanne was known to some as "Debbie" because of a childhood nickname that stuck. She was happiest when she was traveling or spending time with friends and family. She gave herself the nickname "Gypsy Rose" because she loved driving to new places so much. She also enjoyed leisurely rides on her motorcycle.
