Stephen Anthony Jeter, 38 years, of Jamaica, NY, passed away suddenly on November 15, 2020. Beloved son of Melissa Jeter and Melvin Jeter. Dear brother of Andre Jeter(North Carolina) Sean Jeter (Texas) and Jenele Studdard (Pennsylvania). Dearest partner of James Clemente(California). Cherished uncle of Jordyn, Ethan, Shania, Joaquin, Julius and Jael. Devoted grandson of the late Daphne and Samuel Belmar and Inez and Andrie Jeter. Beloved nephew of Andrie Jeter Jr.(Texas), the late Norbratina M. Arrindell Jeter, Evelyn Jeter(Chicago), the late George Jeter, the late Mary and John Seaborn(Philadelphia), Mathew Belmar, Matthias Belmar, Winston and Edna Murray(Trinidad & Tobago), Josephine Bell(Trinidad&Tobago), Joyce Goddard & her late husband Oswald Goddard (New Brunswick), and Doris Rush(Texas) and her late husband Eddie Rush. Also survived by many cousins in the family within the United States, Trinidad & Tobago, Canada, and Denmark, including numerous friends.

Stephen was born and raised in Queens, NY where he attended Bayside High School. He continued his education and received an Associate degree from Queensborough Community College and in 2014, Bachelor of Arts, Fine Arts from Brooklyn College. In 2014, Stephen relocated to California, embarking on a new life despite his battles with epilepsy and the seizures that appeared. He fought against the odds and lived his life to the fullest. As his mother, I want him to know I am so proud of him and his accomplishments. Stephen touched so many hearts and worked hard to enjoy life. Stephen kept going. He kept living and enjoyed creating his artwork, listening to his music and gaming. Stephen was so artistic and friendly and personable. He was my youngest son and I will miss him very much. The angels have a new artist now.

Cremation services are being held private due to COVID-19 pandemic. A memorial event will be available shortly and information will be posted. Funeral arrangements conducted by LA Funeral Services, Culver City, CA.
