His work took him all over Eastern Michigan from Cass City, to Saginaw, to Bay City, to Farmington. In addition, he always had a story to tell from the years he enjoyed driving taxi for Yellow Cab, in Saginaw, MI.
Steve had many loves, first was his family. He loved the Beatles, Peter Paul & Mary, Harry Chapin, and many other artists. He also loved choir music, Broadway musicals, and mixed CDs from his son. He loved fishing and eating Perch. He loved golfing, especially Dora’s family golf outings. He loved the Cass City United Methodist Church and his Church family. He always looked forward to helping out at Church dinners, especially Dorcas; it was a good time for him.
He loved lawn work & gardening, joking around with his brothers and sister, and his sister’s Christmas cookies. Steve had a great sense of humor.
At church he started out as a choir member, and in later years became Church choir director. He also directed the Tom Thumb Community Choir for a number of years and made many good friends. He had a really good ear for music.
He liked helping out at the Community Thanksgiving Dinner each year, while he was able, it was one of his favorite meals to help out at.
Even though he did not grow up in Cass City, he spent most of his life here. He loved the community and the people.
