Steven passed from this life on June 6, 2021 at the age of 45. Steven is survived by his children, Bailey Madison Davis, husband Ryan, son Grayson (grandbaby #2 due very soon!) of Bixby, OK. Son, Tyler Austin Nixon of Tulsa, OK. Mother, Kathryn Kelley of Tulsa, OK. Sister, Casey Seaton, husband Corey, Niece Sydney and Nephew Austin of Tulsa, OK. Bonus Dad, Ron Herrington and wife Mary of Bixby, OK. Nana, Frances Rongey of Jenks, OK. He is also survived by a host of Uncle's, Aunt's, Niece's, Nephew's, Cousin's and Friend's that are considered family. Steven attended Jenks Public Schools, he was a "lifer" and very proud of it. It was there he met Jenifer Jones, when they were both 12 years old, the girl who would one day become his wife and mother of his children. Although their marriage ended after 18 years, they remained friends. Steven was a memeber of the National Art Honor Society. He had always dreamed of attending The Savannah School of Art and Design upon graduation. His artistic vision ended up taking him in a slightly different direction, but one he loved no less. Steven completed multiple courses in Professional Automotive Paint and Autobody, propelling him into the field he was truly passionate about. Whether he was in a shop, on the side of a friends house; if he was working on a car, he was happy. When he coached Bailey and Tyler in softball and baseball, those kids had the coolest helmets, as did our teams. Tyler might have started his journey into automotive paint a tad early, thanks to his Dad. When he was 4, he thought it was supercool, and some paint might have been left in Tyler's room (up where we thought he couldn't reach it) from where we had been painting it Dinoco blue. Tyler, in super stealth mode, nabbed the paint, unscrewed the lid and began the task of painting all his Thomas Trains and Hot Wheel's cars, dipping them one-by-one in the paint jar. Nothing like taking your Smurf colored Son outside at 1am, stark naked so you can wash the paint off! Whether it was family vacations, family dinner night and Wii Bowling with Nana (and the dog) Steve was the life of the party. He had a sense of humor, quick wit, that always drew a crowd. He never knew a stranger, he had an infectious personality that made you instant friends. The last time he saw Bailey, he was dancing with her at her wedding. And Tyler, they were rockin out with Steel Panther at the Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City. His sudden passing will leave behind many who will no doubt miss him, those who also love him but none who will moreso than Bailey and Tyler.
