Suresh C Manchanda

(Oct 17, 1942 - July 3, 2022)

 

Suresh Manchanda was born in Sialkot before partition and grew up in New Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi with one brother and five sisters. After graduating from the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) in 1966, he worked at Chowdhury and Gulzar Singh in New Delhi before emigrating to the US in September 1969, where he had a long career in architecture. He was a kind, gentle and light hearted man who is survived by many dear friends who treated him like a brother and by a loving family including Veena, his wife of nearly 50 years, his two sons Rishi and Gaurav, his daughters-in-law Shilpa and Emily, and five amazing grandchildren.

The Chautha ceremony was held in Andover, MA on Wednesday July 6th and was followed by food, gathering, and sharing of fond memories.
