OBITUARY
On November 30, 2020, John (Tony) Ross, passed away at the age of 75 after his fight against the coronavirus. Tony was born in Santa Cruz, CA to Tony and Lucille (Ford) Ross.Tony joined the Navy at age 20, serving as a marine mechanic. After serving for 2 years, he entered the Santa Cruz Naval Reserve Unit. On November 30, 2020, John (Tony) Ross, passed away at the age of 75 after his fight against the coronavirus. Tony was born in Santa Cruz, CA to Tony and Lucille (Ford) Ross.
Tony joined the Navy at age 20, serving as a marine mechanic. After serving for 2 years, he entered the Santa Cruz Naval Reserve Unit. Tony devoted himself to raising show dogs, decorating for Christmas, and serving his community. Tony will be remembered for his contagious smile and great dance moves!
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara, their two sons, four grandchildren, and one sister.

Some of my earliest memories are touring Tony's Christmas decorations in Capitola. I also have the fond memory of moving Tony and Barbara to Watsonville. This was when Mike spilled Barbara's marbles all over 41st Avenue lol. I will always remember Tony as a man that had an immense impact on my family. Thank you for everything Tony. less
Tony was the patriarch of our family. He mentored me from the time I was 18. He taught me how to snow ski, water ski, and drink beer! He told me his mother had him take ballet lessons as a child and that was why he became such a smooth and velvety... moreTony was the patriarch of our family. He mentored me from the time I was 18. I never did find out why he thought he could sing? Tony was always there to help. We took on many diy projects over the years. I will truly miss my brother (in-law). He was one of a kind!
