Doona or Jr. to some, Vincent Wycoff Jr., born November 14, 1957, passed away June 15, 2020, at age 62. He bravely battled a multitude of health issues. He was predeceased by his parents: Emma and Vincent Wycoff Sr. two sisters: Kyrenthia Lynn and Giselle:" Rene" two brothers: Keenan Vaughn and Demetrius Tobias.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Nicole Yvette Dunn, and her children: granddaughter, La'Jaeveon and grandsons, Jesus Jamal and Jasper Juel, all of Waco, Texas.
He leaves to cherish his memories three sisters: Jacqueline Roberts (Lennox), Veverly Wycoff and Angelina Diombokho (Magaye), and one brother, Ulysses "Leon" Wycoff. He also leaves several nieces and nephews plus a host of extended of family and friends.
Playing basketball captured his passion while attending M.C. Williams High. His path was derailed after suffering severe leg and back injuries. He was a plumber, like his dad Vincent Sr., both employed by the City of Houston in the Water Treatment Division.
He never hesitated in helping others with their plumbing repairs. He applied his carpentry skills while employed at Brown and Root.
His loves were his family, friends, and his dog Bow Legs. He provided caretaker duties for his younger brother Demetrius "Meetri".
He shared his culinary skills in BBQ, gumbo, and festive holiday dinners. When he cooked, you were invited.
He loved the beaches of Galveston and Surfside while often time grilling there.
He was an avid Cowboy fan. If he wasn't watching sports, he would chill listening to his collection of Jazz music.
He was witty, easy-going, talented, and always ready to flash a smile. He will be greatly missed.
