OBITUARY
Warren Paul McWeay, Jr. was born May 15, 1950 to the late Warren Paul McWeay, Sr. and Cora Bingham McWeay, in Washington, DC. He was the third of five children and quite the leader. As a child, he was raised in Church, a former Boy Scout and Newspaper Deliverer. He was educated in the DC Public School System and graduated from Cardozo High School in 1968. As a child, he was raised in Church, a former Boy Scout and Newspaper Deliverer. He was educated in the DC Public School System and graduated from Cardozo High School in 1968. After high school Warren attended University of Iowa and Shaw University. Upon his return he worked as a commercial driver for Yellow Cab and DC’s Metro System. Warren would often visit Meridian, Mississippi as it was his Mom’s hometown. After one visit too many, he settled in Meridian and made it his home as well.
Warren will be remembered for his gift of gab and social lifestyle. Although a jack of all trades, Warren enjoyed playing chess, listening to music, cooking and being in the company of family and friends.
