Yvonne, or as everyone knew her, Bunny was an amazing woman. She did not always have an easy life, but she always had a smile and something positive to say. She was one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I have known. From the day I was born, I was special to her and she was always my special aunt. I remember when I was 5, I would go to her house on a Friday night to watch TV and play games. She would always have pop and chips for me...what a treat back in the day! And she would peel me oranges and let me eat as much as I wanted! Why I remember the oranges, I have no idea, but I guess we didn't have them at home very often. Through the years, we always stayed close, and as adults, she was my best friend. I could talk to her about ANYTHING, she always listened, was never judgmental and always gave good advice.
I will miss her more than I could ever say, but she is now in heaven, out of pain and in peace.
God Bless you Aunt Bunny, as your last words were to me, "I will see in heaven".
