I knew Alex through Eileen. He was a great guy, and I wish I could have got to know him better. His unexpected death shocked me beyond words, so I made an arrangement of an old folk song. Alex was also a musician - a jazz drummer - as was Eileen, and we sometimes went to concerts together, so I know he will appreciate this.
