He exemplified the true meaning of "a gentleman and a scholar". And he will be deeply missed by myself, the entire team at Brazos Towers, as well as all of his neighbors and friends within the community that enjoyed his friendship and zest for life. He was such a good sport when (under duress) he did me the honor of being Mr. January in our resident calendar for 2020. He wasn't too keen about the idea of being in our spotlight as a community celebrity (see his autographed photo , but he relished the idea of sharing stories with us about his life, his passions and of course his great love for his family and Rice University. We were blessed to have known him and now heaven is lucky to have him among their angels. May he rest in peace.
