One of my first memories is sitting on Grannie's stoop waiting for Uncle Robert to come home from service. Seems like shortly after I was at Robert and Isabella's wedding, the boat trip to Canada and our family living together in big Vancouver houses until we could afford a home. Well, when we bought one, Uncle Robert and Aunt Isabella bought one too, right across the street! Life takes one in different directions, but one constant was Hornby and Aunt Isabella and Uncle Robert enjoying his role as elder and keeper of all traditions. The last time I saw him was only a few weeks ago where he still found the energy to be his old self, even if it was only for a few minutes at a time. God bless you Uncle Robert.
