My dad, John (Johnny) Walker, was always the life of the party and ready to make anyone laugh. He was the best handyman, plumber, and home inspector around. He loved Colorado’s blue skies, skiing, hiking and rafting. He was the kindest man with the biggest heart. He would do anything for for his three girls, including driving 3 hours in a blizzard just to make the last 5 minutes of our childhood concerts. He had an impeccable sense of humor with a contagious laugh and smile. He had a strong work ethic and passed down these values to his daughters (we didn’t have a choice he always put us to work). He was always the first person on the dance floor and the last to leave it. My children will forever have his blue eyes and I’ll be forever thankful for this daily reminder of him. My heart aches to hear his laugh just one more time or have just one more hug from him. My dad was taken from this world too young but I’m thankful he didn’t suffer long. I’m thankful he is now surrounded by his parents and sister. You are very loved and missed dad, rest peacefully ol’ dog.
