I encountered in him an engaging mind with a voracious appetite. I mean that literally and metaphorically. His appetite was much larger than the large body that he lived in. A mind like his needs to eat.
In and out of altered states we began to pursue conversations and intellectual freedoms to examine and evaluate the possibility of species survival. No limitations to our conversations were that they were to be conducted without greed and other fear-based behaviors.
Our assessments were less than optimistic, but our conversations were always energetic. We were to meet for lunch on that Wednesday and pursue that conversation. This conversation never is not over. I will see you on the farside to continue the conversation that never ends.
