His booming voice echoed through the air, and when I listened what I heard was tough love. Coach Hill expected a lot of his athletes and students because he knew of their potential. Before he moved to the Upper School, Coach Hill was a regular substitute in the MS, and we were thrilled to have him with our children every day. An amazing role model, students learned from him about life and leadership and care. My favorite times were when he sat in at the MS Office Front Desk. He made it his mission to keep a smile on all of our faces, and he was quite successful. His words at MS Veterans' Day chapel still resonate with me, and he touched the hearts of many young men and women, introducing them to the notion of sacrifice. As a parent, both of my boys have had the distinct honor to be coached by Ron. And they are better men for it! May us all incorporate what was best in Ron into our interactions with students and colleagues. He epitomized #BetterTogether. #MVunites #SaluteCoachHill less
