He attended Runkle school and then graduated from Brookline High School. He then went on to Emory University, where he received his BA. Andy continued his education at the University of Michigan for his MBA. Andy enjoyed traveling to both Brazil and more recently Thailand where he resided for several years before returning to the United States. Prior to suffering physical disabilities, Andy was a competitive tennis player. Andy was an animal lover and he enjoyed opportunities to spend time with his family. He will best be remembered during the times he shared with his family and friends in Brookline, MA. Andy was predeceased by his mother Renee Braff, and is survived by his father Jerry Braff, sister, cousins, aunt and uncle. We are relieved he is out of pain and in a better place now. RIP.
I met Andy at Emory University where we played (and eventually sold ) "Cosmic Wimpout" games together. Andy had a bold spirit and a great sense of humor that I will never forget. I will miss him.

His affable personality and kindred spirit made him a very special person. At times we would spend hours in conversation, usually with regards to volatile gyrations in the stock market. When he relocated to Thailand and I opened a restaurant we unfortunately fell out of contact in 2007. I remember his last attempt to reach me and I was not able to take his call sometime in late 2018. I attempted to reach out to him through various social media and was heartbroken when I located his memorial. Needless to say I will forever miss him and pass along my condolences to his sister and his father whom he was very fond of as I recall. less
I will remember my cousin with love. Wishing peace and only the treasured memories of happier times to Jerry, Liza, Fred, Samantha and Randy.
