From Goody Hall-
It is with profound sadness and heartbreak I share with you the passing of our precious father, grandfather and great grandfather. He left this earth peacefully in his sleep at home. For that I am grateful. Many of you know him through all the photos and videos I have shared. He was a decorated WWII Veteran and will be buried with honors. He loved his simple life, his beloved dog Connie, a glass of wine but most of all his family. I will deeply miss my times spent with my dad, talking about all our travels - his and mine, which were many. Our talks about history, his love for Virginia and his life with our family. We love you my sweet daddy and we were blessed to have you for 98 years on this earth. I will carry you in my heart. In his words: “Be kind, take care of yourself and be optimistic about the future.” James Lamm
