What made it more difficult is to see him fighting with such determination, never giving up despite the series of setbacks that could make a grown man cry in anguish. He never flinched when the doctor told him his cancer is incurable.
When the doctor asked if he understood his situation, all he said was – I guess I had the express ticket… with a smile in his face.
As his situation turned dire, he remained positive. He won’t even take his morphine dose – he will just say the pain is “bearable”
But as CJ said, we should Trust GOD. I, we will never understand why this happens, but we believe that this is all part of a music of life we are all dancing to. CJ just tapped out early but in the end we will see him when the music of time will stop playing.
As CJ said - focus on things we gain and not on the things we lose. We lost a son, a brother, a friend – one who is always very helpful, witty with his one liners , a great dancer, a computer whiz
But we gained an inspiration – that the human spirit is unbreakable – we can face great challenges and overcome, we may lose our life in the battle, but we will win the race to heaven.
Rest in peace my son, we love you, we will always remember! less
