~A mother's love is always with her children. Losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. But her goodness, her caring, and her wisdom live on.~

Kathryn Heitzeberg Brooks, age 69, passed away at home on June 13, 2020 due to advanced metastatic ovarian cancer. She was born February 9, 1951 in New York to Robert and Marie Heitzeberg.

Kathryn loved her family and was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She spent the last months of her life in the care of her daughter (Heather), son-in-law (Matt) and granddaughter (Sophie).

For many years, Kathryn worked in the natural health field as a demo representative for a variety of companies. One of her favorite things about her job was meeting new people. She valued the time she spent talking to diverse people and promoting ways to obtain a higher level of health and well-being. Kathryn loved the earth, the mountains, the bees, healing herbs, and held reverence for all living creatures.

Kathryn is survived by her brother Ken Heitzeberg, her daughter Heather Collins and son-in-law Matt Collins. Her sons; Dean Brooks and Keefe Ulmschneider (Carrie). Grandchildren; Sophie, Alexys, Katelyn, Arielle, Tristan, Julia, Brooke, Titus and Noah. Preceded in death by her brother Bob Heitzeberg, parents Robert and Marie, grandmother Jesse.
