Kenneth Wayne Kelly was born January 24th, 1955 in Plainview, TX to Randolph and Katherine Kelly. The family moved to Long Beach, CA where he attended New Hope Baptist Church and accepted Christ at an early age. He was active in Sunday School, BTU, the Youth Department and Choir. Kenny attended Burnett Elementary School, Hughes Junior High School, and graduated from Long Beach Poly High School in 1973. He later attended California State University of Long Beach where he earned a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
In 1990, Kenny married the love of his life, Anupama Sharma. As a result of this union, 3 handsome boys were born, Aseem, Amir and Armaan. Kenny loved his family tremendously and was a great provider. Kenny not only loved his immediate family, but his love extended to his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Kenny began his career as a probation officer. He later moved into Timeshare Sales Management where he excelled and won many awards and achievements. Kenny was an avid hunter, horseman and fisherman. He also loved to play golf, tennis, and ride bikes. In addition, singing was one of his greatest passions along with writing poetry. Kenny loved the Lord and it showed in his attitude and in his love for life. He will truly be missed.
He leaves to mourn his wife of 31 years Anupama Sharma-Kelly, three sons--Aseem and his wife Sasha, Amir and Armaan--three brothers Leonard Kelly, Ricky Kelly and his wife Ruthie, Kevin Kelly and his wife Michell, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

However, I am glad that he set a good example for me, his friends and especially for his wife, sons, and the rest of his family. We lived and laughed together and were so joyful over the fact that God chose us out of the world to forgive us our sins and made us "new creations" and disciples of Jesus Christ. The Lord used Ken to spread the gospel through his life and even in his death. His death reminds us that we will live forever in heaven one day. He is now with his parents and loved ones and in no pain. I love you my brother and like you I believe in the promise of Christ who said, "I am the resurrection and the life, he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live. John 11:25-26. May the family find strength to live on in the promises of God's word. Ron Bournes less
To Anu and family, my sincerest condolences to you all. Although I have not had the opportunity to meet Mr. Kelly, I have enjoyed seeing all of the family photos and stories.

I always wiped my face and told him I didn't like it, but I did. I knew it was his way of showing his love. In the months before he passed, I shared with him that I often kissed and tickled my boys too. He thought that was hilarious! May he rest in peace. less
Uncle Kenny was always fun, cracking jokes and talking mess! I remember visiting the family and playing tennis with Aseem and Armaan and Kenny joined us, telling me how bad he was gonna beat me! He will be missed! I found some photos to share.

We loved his input and wisdom in our Sunday School class. He sometimes told funny stories about his mother getting at him when he acted up. We senjiyed those stories. He was so encouraging about my Sunday School teachings and tell me not to let the Devil stop me which you already know from speaking with you also. I appreciated the both of you. For some reason I often found myself referring to him as Rev. Kelly. I’m will continue to pray for each of you. He was so proud of his sons. God will keep and take care of snd provide for you. I’m truly sorry for your loss. ❤️❤️❤️ less
