OBITUARY
Ed passed away peacefully at home Christmas Day. He is preceded in death by his loving wife De Ray. He is survived by his children Missy (Tom) Saggau and Courtney Ray, his 3 grandsons Charlie and Brodie Saggau and Tobie Bookstaver.
There will be an open house memorial Saturday January 9th, 2021 from 1-5pm in Arvada, CO.

I had the honor of taking over as the Chief following Ed's retirement. I still remember the four days we spent together during the transition wondering what I had gotten myself into! Ed was very reassuring and set me up for success as he passed the leadership torch to me. Now, 9.5 years later, we have grown what Ed started and remember the foundation he laid in starting this department. Rest easy Chief Ray, we have the watch from here.... less
