Mrs. Melodie Carol (Pignato) Rogers, daughter of the late Nunzio Pignato and Dorothy (Graham) Pignato was born April 10, 1948 in Boston, MA. She grew up in Hyde Park, MA surrounded by her Pignato family of Brookline, MA. Most recently, Melodie’s life and love has been shared with Larry Federhen of Taylor Community in Laconia, NH. She is also survived by the father of her daughters, Wayne M. Hadden, and predeceased by her second husband, Tom R. Rogers.
Her life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Laurie Ann Ducat (spouse John) of Dover-Foxcroft, ME and WendyLeigh Hadden White (spouse Pete) of Portland, OR; as well as three grandchildren: Casey Jameson of Millinocket, ME, Samantha Jameson of Eddington, ME, and Alex White of Portland, OR, and a host of devoted cousins and friends.
Melodie worked as an executive assistant and accounts payable specialist. She resided in Foxborough, Franklin, and Blackstone, MA before moving to Laconia, NH. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her cats Shadow and Mittens, traveling (with Betty and Donna!), and above ALL else, being ‘Gramma’. She was active at Taylor, hosting the monthly birthday parties and setting up the on-site store.
She departed this life, at age 71, on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH. She will be interred at Bellevue Cemetery in Harvard, MA. Her Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 24th 2019 at the Harvard Unitarian Universalist Church in Harvard, MA.
