Paul Curtis Malmstrom passed away on July 6, 2020 after a long courageous battle with many terrible illnesses. He was a loving Husband and Father whose family was his greatest joy. He never stopped bragging about his daughter, and who could blame him.
A talented guitarist and expert skier, he loved the outdoors. Hiking, fishing, and camping were his favorite warm weather activities but Winter was his time to shine. A big snowfall was cause for celebration.
Paul had the uncanny ability to make you feel like his best friend after only knowing him for 5 minutes. His ever present smile, sense of humor and quick wit ingratiated him with everyone he met. And his talents in the kitchen were legend among his many friends. Even after his illnesses robbed him of his sense of taste he kept cooking for others.
Paul did not abide injustice or intolerance on any level. This alone would have made him great.
His passing leaves a hole in the lives of all who loved him.
Paul was a graduate of Wayne Valley High School in Wayne, N.J., and was currently residing in Jackson N.J. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy, his beautiful daughter, Carolyn, his parents George and Beryl Malmstrom, his sister Cathleen, brothers Dwight and Richard, and loving nieces and nephews, Jason, Lorien, Kate, Lara, Jorge and Marianna.
