Toan Minh Nguyen, 82, went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2020. 

Toan was born on August 15, 1937, in Hai Phong, Vietnam. He married Nam Thi Do on November 1, 1956. He migrated to Georgetown, Texas in 1975 with his daughters Trang Nguyen, Shaney Thu Salsman, Thuy Lightfoot, and his son Hiep Nguyen. In May of 1984, he was joined by his wife and daughters Huong Nguyen, Dang The Nguyen, Ha Nguyen, Anna Nguyen, Victoria Nguyen, and son Tri Nguyen. Through his dedication and love for his wife and children, he worked tirelessly to ensure they were all together in the United States of America, resulting in a significant impact on everyone’s future.

He later married Nancy Ngan Le in 1989 and had a son, Anthony Nguyen.

He reconciled with his first wife, Nam Thi Do, and was cared for and loved by all of his 11 children until his death. 

He is survived by his sisters Thoan Nguyen, Thieng Nguyen, Thiem Nguyen and brother Dinh Nguyen, 11 children, 28 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Per dad's wish, his body will be cremated following the service and his urn will be placed in the columbarium at our family's parish, Giáo Xứ Đức Mẹ Hằng Cứu Giúp (Mother of Perpetual Help), Garland, Texas.
