We all dove into the Atlantic the morning before leaving Wrightsville Beach (Wilmington NC), where we gathered to celebrate Sally's life last month. Mom had a rule when we were up on the St. Lawrence River on family trips: No breakfast until you've had a swim! (NB: The Atlantic Ocean in October is still much warmer than the St. Lawrence River in mid-summer!)
